How Aktai Makes Sure a Research Call Reaches Your Client
A client who misses a call blames you, not WhatsApp. Missed calls become refund requests and renewals that never happen. Here is how Aktai makes sure every call lands.
Short answer: every call goes out on the client's channel under your firm's name and by email, every time. On WhatsApp it reaches clients even if they never reply, and one tap shows the full call in the chat. If a channel fails, the email copy has it covered, every send is on record, and if nothing works, you are told.
Every call, two ways
A call goes to the client's preferred channel and to their email at the same time. Clients who live in WhatsApp read it there; everyone has a copy in their inbox they can search later. Email goes to the address on file, or the one they use for your client portal, when they have agreed to email or signed your agreement.
The full call in one tap
The WhatsApp message carries a Show details button. When the client taps it, the full call arrives in the same chat: entry, target, stop loss and your notes. Research notes work the same way.
What happens when something fails
A WhatsApp "sent" only means Meta accepted the message. Aktai watches what happens next.
| When | What Aktai does |
|---|---|
| Every call | Goes out on the client's channel and by email, so there is always a copy |
| WhatsApp refuses the send | The email copy carries the call; with no email on file, Telegram is tried |
| Meta reports a failure later, or no receipt in 10 minutes | Covered by the email copy; without one, re-sent by email or Telegram |
| The number failed three times on the client side | WhatsApp paused for that client for 7 days; email carries the calls |
| The client blocks your Telegram bot | Treated as STOP; the client shows as not connected on their page |
| No channel works | The firm's owners get an email naming the client and what was tried |
Each fallback checks that channel's own consent. A client who never agreed to email or Telegram is not contacted there. A client you excluded from delivery gets nothing on any channel.
The limit: email "sent" means the mail service accepted it, not that the client opened it. You can switch email off for a client, and then the email copy stops for them.
A record of every send
Every call you send is recorded per client: the exact text that went out, the channel, every channel tried, and what happened to it, including a later failure report from Meta. When a client says they never got a call, you can see what was sent, where, and when. Pressing send twice by mistake does not reach the client twice.
The limit: Aktai keeps the record. You remain responsible for your SEBI obligations.
Replies, STOP and Telegram
STOP works on both apps
A client who sends STOP on WhatsApp, or /stop on Telegram, stops getting messages on that channel. Their consent is cleared in your client list, not just in a log.
Replies come to you
Any other reply, on WhatsApp or Telegram, is emailed to your firm's owners. The client gets one short acknowledgement a day saying their message was passed on. Aktai never answers your client.
Telegram without chat IDs
Send the client a one-time link from their page. They tap it and press Start, and they are connected. The link works once, expires in seven days and only works in a private chat, so one client's research never lands in a group. If the client later blocks the bot, that counts as STOP and their page shows them as not connected.
What it changes for your practice
- Fewer "I never got the call" disputes: you can see what went out, where and when.
- No call depends on one app: every client also has it in their inbox.
- Clients who only read and never reply still get every call, in full.
- Your clients deal with you, not with a bot: replies land in your inbox.
Questions RAs ask
What happens if a WhatsApp message to a client fails?
Aktai re-sends the call by email, then Telegram, on channels the client has agreed to. It does this when WhatsApp refuses the send, when Meta reports a failure later, or when no delivery receipt arrives within 10 minutes. If nothing works, the firm owners get an email.
Why does a client get the call twice?
On purpose: once on their channel and once by email, so no call depends on one app and the client always has a copy they can search. You can switch email off for any client. Pressing send twice by mistake does not send it twice: a repeat within two minutes is skipped.
Does Aktai reply to my clients?
No. STOP on WhatsApp or Telegram stops that channel for the client. Any other reply, on WhatsApp or Telegram, is emailed to the firm owners, and the client gets one short acknowledgement a day. You reply yourself.
Can clients read the full call inside WhatsApp?
Yes. The WhatsApp message carries a Show details button. One tap and the full call, with entry, target, stop loss and your notes, arrives in the same chat. It works for seven days after you send.
How does a client connect Telegram?
You send them a one-time link from their client page. They tap it and press Start in Telegram. The link works once, expires after seven days, and only in a private chat.
